We are looking for an Investment Advisor to join the growing team in our Dublin office, responsible for developing investment proposals and providing after-sales support, for both Discretionary and Advisory clients.Act as representative and ambassador of Julius Baer and IWMS internally and externally
Liaise with technical specialists within the Bank in preparing and delivering investment proposals
Act as an unbiased and holistic business enabler for client solutions including cross-selling activities (Advisory and Discretionary mandated solutions, Wealth & Tax Planning etc.)
Ensure client service and one-voice message on investment related topic
Ensure the sales and maintenance of Core-Satellite selected solutions
Acquisition: Prospect pitches for discretionary and advisory solutions
Manage your own client portfolios by monitoring and analysing portfolios
Provide proactive high-quality tailor-made and regulatory compliant investment advice to sophisticated and active private clients, including conducting portfolio proposals / reviews, creating sophisticated, tailor-made proposals and presenting the results to clients / prospects, by always considering client suitability, risk appetite, life-cycle-related needs and investment objectives
Assist RMs with market and investment product related matters
Support RMs with client interactions, both prospects as well as existing clients (i.e. join prospect/client meetings).
Support sales and after-sales for standard DM solutions
Support internal and external events, notably
Lead / run sales and desk meetings, by providing updates on markets, sharing Julius Baer convictions on products and delivering tailored content and on demand presentations.
Presenting at internal and external events
3+ years of relevant professional experience
Familiarity with multi-asset investing and institutional investment strategies.
Demonstrable interest and understanding of financial markets and the main asset classes.
High level of competence in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of UCITS, MiFID II or SFDR regulatory requirements beneficial.
CFA qualification, or working towards, would be beneficial
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics/Finance/Mathematics or related discipline
Ability to prioritise own workload, exhibiting excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with financial information tools (eg. Bloomberg).
