Help us get ahead of disease together with our Serology and Immunology team in Italy as an intern and help us unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. You will support laboratory and research activities focused on serological assays and immune response measurements of vaccine candidates at pre-clinical or clinical phases. You will work closely with experienced scientists, learn practical lab skills, and contribute to meaningful global health projects. We value curiosity, clear thinking, teamwork and a willingness to learn. This role offers strong growth potential, hands-on experience, and a real chance to make an impact on global health.

Education required: BS or MSc degree (recently graduated or final-year student) in Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology, Biochemistry or related scientific field.


Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in Italian and good working knowledge of English (B2 or higher).


Expected start date: January 2026


Internship period: 6 months (can be renewed)

What will you do?

• Support serology and immunology laboratory activities focused on vaccine candidate evaluation.
• Run routine assays (e.g. ELISA, flow cytometry, functional tests) following established protocols and safety procedures.
• Prepare reagents, samples and materials; support equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Record, manage and analyze experimental data with accuracy and clarity.
• Assist in assay optimization, troubleshooting, and method development tasks.
• Contribute to lab documentation, reports, and presentation of results to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to support project goals and continuous improvement.
• Learn from experienced scientists and take part in real research with global impact.

What are we looking for?

• Academic background in life sciences with strong interest in immunology and vaccines.
• Basic laboratory experience from university or previous internships.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data handling.
• Teamwork, curiosity, and a positive attitude toward learning.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain accurate lab records.
• Motivation to grow within a research or quality environment.
