JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Intern – Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid – Bengaluru

Duration: Internship (6 months)

Position Summary

Deepwatch is seeking final-year engineering students and fresh graduates for Intern – Software Engineer roles. This position focuses on software engineering, AI, and cybersecurity, offering hands-on experience working on real-world security and engineering problems. High-performing interns and fresh graduates may be offered full-time Software Engineer roles based on performance and business needs.

What You Will Work On

  • Develop software features supporting AI and threat detection initiatives
  • Build and enhance web UIs, internal tools, and dashboards (React.js, JavaScript)
  • Support backend services, automation workflows
  • Analyze cybersecurity datasets and help build detection logic
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and sprint ceremonies

Qualifications

  • Final-year student or fresh graduate in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Electronics, or related fields
  • Strong in:
  • Python
  • Java
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Data structures & algorithms
  • Good knowledge of:
  • Web application development
  • Frontend development with React.js & JavaScript
  • Mobile or web application fundamentals
  • Interest in cybersecurity or threat detection
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of security concepts (SOC, SIEM, EDR)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking, and modern web/mobile frameworks
