The PITCH
In VaynerMedia, our account managers are exceptional client service people. They collaborate to run and support the day-to-day management and organization of specific projects as well as the overall account management. They have high meticulous attention to detail and are working on establishing strong client relationships by showing capabilities that they understand the business and competitive landscape.
This is a full-time role based in Bangkok with a reporting role to the Account Director in Thailand.
Here’s your first brief:
- Lives and breathes today’s digital and social consumer, with a strong grasp of platform culture (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, etc.) and how content earns attention organically before paid amplification.
- Translates client business challenges into social-first creative strategies that drive both brand growth and performance outcomes.
- Partners with Strategy and Creative teams to develop cultural insights and platform-native thinking.
- Represents VaynerMedia confidently and strategically, articulating our POV clearly in front of clients.
- Identifies competitive threats and proactively works with the Account Director to protect and grow the business.
- Ensures seamless cross-functional collaboration across Strategy, Creative, Project Management, and Media teams to bring ideas to life efficiently.
- Owns day-to-day operational alignment with clients, including:
- Managing SMA submission timelines and approval processes
- Consolidating client feedback clearly
- Aligning expectations on revisions, turnaround time, and delivery cadence
- Driving disciplined approval workflows to protect production timelines
- Escalating risks early when delays may impact publishing schedules
- Owns day-to-day client relationship management, maintaining trust, responsiveness, and proactive communication.
- Monitors account health, delivery quality, and performance signals, escalating risks early and presenting solutions.
- Develops and delivers presentations aligned with VaynerMedia’s standards.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 4–6+ years of experience in a social-first agency, digital agency, or eCommerce enabler.
- Background in eCommerce, social commerce, or marketplace ecosystems (e.g., TikTok Shop, Lazada, Shopee) is a strong plus, particularly in understanding how content drives lower-funnel performance and commercial impact.
- Creative, strategic thinker with a social-first mindset and experience in campaign planning and idea generation.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Thai is strongly preferred to craft culturally and linguistically relevant campaigns.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to present confidently to clients.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Consistently acts with integrity, builds trust with colleagues and clients, and sets stretch goals to achieve high standards of performance.
