The intern will be part of the enterprise risk management team (ERM) and run a project to enhance the emerging risk framework for Eastspring and its rollout to align it to the Prudential framework enhancements. In addition, the intern will support in the execution of the risk culture campaign (including strategic risk and risk appetite related activities), risk monitoring and various ERM initiatives e.g. KI enhancements as needed.   

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Get a broad understanding of Asset Management governance and systems of controls.
  • Understand the changes required from Prudential on the emerging risk framework, propose changes to the Eastspring emerging risk processes, and perform the rollout to Eastspring as key project
  • Support activities that require RCL input and execution as part of the Risk Culture Campaign targeted to run in 2026
  • Support risk monitoring activities in Transformation and ESG
  • Support in risk maintenance of risk systems and data

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate currently studying Risk Management, Business, Finance and/or related subjects
  • Basic understanding of enterprise risk concepts and investment products
  • Analytical skills with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Detail orientated with a highly analytical approach, a self-starter who has the ability to use their own initiative
  • Highly motivated and able to manage multiple activities.
  • Good communication skills (Mandarin speaking an advantage)
  • Proficient in MSOffice tools especially powerpoint and excel
