Major Duties:

  • You will serve as either the Mission Planning, Submarine Platform Integration, or Submarine Weapon Control System Lead in the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program Office supporting Navy’s hypersonic capability.
  • You will provide expert, independent government oversight and technical authority for the design, development, integration, testing, and fleet introduction of CPS Weapon System.
  • You will provide multi-discipline direction and Engineering Management to the CPS Program in designated area of responsibility.
  • You will manage system engineering requirements and verification.
  • You will coordinate the cross-functional and external interface efforts.
  • You will analyze and assess new standards and methods to develop innovative policies and integrate into the administration and operation of air-based, sea-based and/or land-based platforms for Weapon System programs.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing technical program management, software acquisition, or system engineering for a Navy platform or weapon system.
