Job Description

Collaborates in design, delivery implementation and support of software applications and reporting through integrations and interfaces. Supports Summit approved strategy by providing IT project management, testing, implementation, and training expertise for assigned applications/interfaces. Gathers data from multiple sources, handling missing values and ensuring data accuracy and relevance using tools like Excel and SQL. The individual in this role must demonstrate an eagerness to learn, teach, collaborate, and demonstrate enthusiasm when working in a matrix organization. 

Essential Job functions:

  • Work cross-functionally between IT Applications and Infrastructure as well as external vendors and integrated partners.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain data from primary and secondary sources while ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Clean, prepare, and validate data sets for reliable analysis and reporting
  • Develop and automate processes for data collection, integration, and reporting to improve efficiency
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements for interfaces and data handling and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data-driven insights with organizational goals
  • Work with project managers and department heads to understand analytics and interface needs and deliver timely insights
  • Coordinate, implement and set up of Epic and third-party applications integration needs through thorough planning and testing.
  • Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders to understand and meet their data needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset—always looking for ways to improve performance, accuracy, and usability.

Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution or a minimum of three years relevant work experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience with interface engines, SQL queries/databases and Epic is a plus but not required.
  • Experience implementing and supporting enterprise clinical and business applications/interfaces including, but not limited to, DICOM/Radiology and Lab preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to probe for information about organizational needs within the user community to directly influences the application framework creation, connection, testing and evolution.
  • Knowledge of database security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery best practices a plus.
  • Effective priority and task management skills.
