Not RequiredConducts inspections of products (parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, instruments, etc.) to validate compliance to design data requirements which include drawings, specifications, and contract requirements at predetermined steps in the manufacturing process using basic inspection methods and tools.
What You Will Do:
Understand engineer drawings.
Perform preliminary review on non-conforming material.
Ensure calibration, chemical and consumable dates are current.
Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools.
Demonstrate proper use of electrical/mechanical measuring devices.
Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition
Take ownership for accuracy of processes and resulting costs.
Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
Coordinate workflow and priorities through the cell –Act as “lead assembler”.
Demonstrates above average abilities in performing Technical Tasks.
Comply with all rules and regulations of Raytheon Technologies, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance and Human Resources

Project Work
Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
Coordinate production to meet deadlines and quality requirements.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
Understand end uses of products being built.
Comply with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs.
Assist with cost reduction, scrap reduction, lean, process improvement, etc
Safety glasses and other safety equipment are required depending on task
Assist supervisor and/or provide direction and leadership.
Ensure work is accomplished with high quality, in a timely fashion and is compliant with the company’s standards.
Good time management skills and consistently meet deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership and teaming abilities and the ability to motivate employees on a daily basis.
Ability to train/coach others as needed.
Understand and use computer tools such as SAP, and FIT.
Achieve special process certification where applicable.
Perform process inspection.
Effectively interact with others.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically a HS Diploma or GED is required. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, typically less than 2 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
Minimum of 6 months of inspection experience
