Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential
As an Ink Technician, you’ll play a critical role in mixing inks, adhesives, and coatings to meet customer specifications—ensuring high-quality production on our Rotogravure and Lamination presses.
Schedule:
Shift: 12-hour shifts (6 PM – 6 AM) on a 4-3 rotation
Fixed Days:
Option 1: Sunday–Tuesday and every other Saturday
Option 2: Wednesday–Friday and every other Saturday
Note: Employees are assigned to one of the two fixed schedules and do not rotate between them.

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked
What you’ll do:
Set up and prepare batch ink mixes
Create and maintain ink room color standards
Manage returned inks from press operations
Formulate color matches for customer proofs
Mix adhesives and coatings
Operate computerized colorcontrol systems
Maintain a clean, organized 6S ink room and dispensing system
Operate and maintain solvent distillation equipment
Assist with raw material inventory
Support Press Assistants and Operators during changeovers when needed
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manufacturing Supervisor
What we want from you: Lead the Pack
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in color matching, color theory, and spectrophotometry
Pressside troubleshooting experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong math skills, including metric conversions
Experience evaluating analytical results
Ability to identify and resolve issues affecting quality, aesthetics, or contamination
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts
Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Perform tasks in a fast-paced production environment
