PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES

Position Name/ Requisition Title- Finance Lead I-IC

Role Description-
• Responsible for performance management of a team of 4-5 AP Analysts and providing feedbacks for improvement
• Maintain working relationships with Business, Finance and Supplier contacts.
• Helps to ensure data integrity of all financial information within the financial statements and reports including identification of variances.
• Take ownership of team targets/ performance and progress and involvement in process improvement projects
• Resolve escalations and facilitate the backup planning
• Assists in providing quality client service, including meeting internal and external deadlines. 
• Review and maintain the team load balancing activity on monthly basis.
• Review periodic maintainenance of process SOPs.
• Organization and planning of the preparation of various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.
• Communicates and interacts with team, client, other departments, vendors, and executive management on finance issues to provide high quality support.
• Maintain accurate records to support the audit trail for assigned finance activities.
• Actively participates in implementation of systems and special projects.
• Performs other duties, as needed to have proper governance of deliverables.

CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Minimum of 8 - 10 years of financial domain and/or equivalent accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of products
• Excellent communication skills, including superior listening skills
• Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills
• Ability to solve problems and think creatively, strategically and analytically
• Ability to lead, coach and influence the team members
• Ability to effectively manage through change and transition
• Ability to delegate and manage resources appropriately
• Results driven, self-motivated team player that can produce results independently
• Accuracy, thoroughness and strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel, should be flexible as needed
• Exposure to people management skills
