About the Role: 

The Norton/LifeLock Telesales Team is responsible for talking directly with customers to enroll in NortonLifeLock products and services.  The Telesales Agent works to build trust and rapport through every stage of the sales cycle and provides solutions or promotional offers designed to acquire new NortonLifeLock customers.  Agents will collect member enrollment information while maintaining a PCI compliant workspace. Displays thorough knowledge of Norton, LifeLock and competitor products, services, and messaging.  The purpose of this position is to acquire new members through recommending the right solution at the right time. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Handle prospective member enrollment sales calls and work to provide solutions or promotional offers designed to enroll or reinstate the caller as a LifeLock/Norton member 

  • Process all member enrollments accurately to ensure a successful customer onboarding experience and accurate reporting 

  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations of the various LifeLock/Norton plans which best align to the prospective member’s needs 

  • Communicate new product and service opportunities to current and potential members 

  • Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in member enrollment in-line with lifetime value expectations 

  • Display thorough knowledge of LifeLock/Norton and competitor products, services and messaging, to position LifeLock/Norton’s competitive advantage when selling and reinforcing member’s knowledge on the benefits of LifeLock 

  • May be asked to make outreach follow up calls to potential members 

  • Represent LifeLock/Norton and its services in an accurate, professional, and positive manner 

  • Demonstrate a high skill level of relationship building by adhering to defined call flow structure and using needs based selling techniques 

  • May mentor new representatives 

  • Demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor and attitude 

  • Support the Sales team in a fun and team-oriented manner 

  • Resolves issues/concerns productively and professionally 

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to successfully work in a quota driven environment, where a portion of total compensation is at risk 

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a call center environment. Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience using computer-based CRM and/or order entry type applications. Ability to learn and execute selling techniques 

  • Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others 

  • Time management skills 

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Internet, and web-based applications 

  • Regular and punctual attendance required eCommerce experience is a plus 

  • Norton Software knowledge a plus
