Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. About the Role
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a highly engaged In-Room Dining Coordinator to join our team for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract). You will ensure guests receive timely, accurate, and highly personalized in-room dining service, including special requests, private bar orders, and complementary amenities.
What You Will Do
Take guest in-room dining orders and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
Answer telephones courteously, provide menu guidance, and describe food and beverage selections vividly.
Upsell additional products and services to maximize revenue.
Coordinate delivery of guest orders and amenities with Room Service Servers, ensuring timely and accurate service.
Record guest charges, gratuities, and maintain check accuracy.
Maintain and file logs of amenity deliveries, special requests, and private bar services.
Update guest profiles in Opera and maintain VIP or special request reports.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and Banquets for simultaneous or special in-room deliveries.
Use HotSOS to dispatch staff to guest rooms and residential floors efficiently.
Prepare reports using Avero and assist with payroll reporting as required.
Liaise with kitchen staff for extraordinary or off-menu requests.
Accept and manage reservations for hotel food & beverage outlets using Open Table.
Assist with phone coverage, administrative tasks, and general department support.
Comply with all Four Seasons’ Category One and Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism while on duty.
Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
What You Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece.
Previous experience in in-room dining, food & beverage, or hospitality is an advantage.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Greek is an advantage.
Food handling and sanitation certification is a plus.
