What would you do in this role?

The position of intern at Anderson Merchandisers is intended to be a learning experience for the selected intern and a teaching/training opportunity for the department(s) to which the intern is assigned.

  • Support department-specific projects by conducting research, compiling reports, and organizing project materials.

  • Participate in team meetings, take notes, and track follow-up actions.

  • Help prepare presentations, dashboards, and other internal communication materials.

  • Maintain organized records and ensure accurate handling of confidential information.

  • Shadow team members to learn about departmental workflows and organizational processes.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify process improvements or opportunities for efficiency.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay organized.

  • A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

  • Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in an office environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • The intern should expect some travel at the company's expense.
