YOUR ROLE
As an ICT & MOL Test Engineer on our team, you’ll develop, optimizing, and maintaining the test processes. The Test Engineer ensures that the correct test strategy is applied for each product and process.
In your daily job you will:
- Attend the “MSD” events and ensure that the Test flow is designed in a way that complies with the plant standard.
- Acquisition / Purchase of Test Equipment and Fixtures
- Development and modification of Test Software
- Implement APTIV corporate Test procedures for each program (TRD, TCA, Memory and Labeling)
- Ensure compliance with FTQ and Up time goals for each process
- Identify potential Test processes that could generate SCRAP. Work on initiatives to eliminate this condition.
- Apply Six Sigma tools for the launch of Test processes.
- Comply with Environmental, Health, Safety, Sustainability, and energy management requirements, and report any situation that may affect them.
- Participate in Near Miss and Kaizen programs.
- Comply with the training program assigned to the role.
- Maintain ethical and professional conduct in all activities carried out as part of your work.
- Comply with the Internal Work Regulations and the plant policies.
- Comply with customer requirements to ensure a 100% quality product.
- Comply with the responsibilities and functions assigned according to organizational changes and/or current company needs.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Completed bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of the most common Test processes: ICT, MOL Programming, Functional Test.
- Ability to program software: Python/ C/ C#
- Experience purchasing Test Equipment and Fixtures
- Knowledge of Statistical Techniques.
- Advanced English
- Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques: 8D, 5 why
