Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants. This position is for a Human Resources Specialist for the Total Force & Corporate Operations located at Washington Navy Yard, DC (NAVSEA).

Major Duties:

  • You will Advise management on recruitment strategies, sources, special programs, recruitment, relocation and retention incentive programs.
  • You will Provide guidance on merit system principles, prohibited personnel practices, the development and use of valid selection criteria in support of recruitment and placement processes.
  • You will conduct briefings and/or informational sessions for managers or the workforce on human resource related topics to foster understanding and acceptance of new and/or revised HR regulations, policies and practices.
  • You will manage staffing and recruitment data and requirements to ensure hiring goals are achieved in accordance with applicable governmental guidance and objectives.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
