Come join the Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Human Resources (HR) team! We are looking for a Human Resources Senior Manager to support the Aerospace Composite Center (ACC) organization in Hazelwood, MO.

This role creates and drives the HR strategy to develop the Best Team and Talent for the ACC teams who are key to the delivering a high-quality product to our Defense customers.

This role will serve as the HR Business Partner (HRBP) and consultant with the Director / General Manager ACC on all matters related to talent and people. To be successful in this role you will have passion for developing and delivering results through an engaged and highly committed team. This role will provide influence with ACC leadership teams- including Operations, Engineering, Quality, IT, Procurement, Materials Manager, Safety, Maintenance, and Program Management- while partnering closely with BDS Fabrication HR Leader, Site HR Leaders and HR Centers of Excellence (COE).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and influence the ACC HR and Security team fostering collaboration and alignment with organizational goals

  • Set the site HR objectives to support the overall objectives and long-term goals of the organization while ensuring workforce engagement and productivity

  • Manage the department annual budget and set KPIs to measure performance

  • Drive talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning initiatives for the ACC functional leaders

  • Analyze workforce metrics and provide insights to improve team effectiveness and address potential HR risks

  • Lead change management efforts impacting the ACC team, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption

  • Collaborate with cross-functional HR partners to align policies, programs, and compliance requirements affecting ACC

  • Serve as a key liaison between the ACC team and senior leadership, communicating HR priorities and team needs effectively

  • Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training, security), and to support the delivery of programs

  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation and ensure solutions are consistent with organization and site objectives

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading direct reports

  • 3+ years of experience in leading change management and process improvement activities at a business unit or enterprise level

  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 3+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

  • 3+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior business leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in staffing/hiring plans

  • 3+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing/reporting out high level projects for executives or senior leadership

  • Experience developing strong cross functional partnerships to deliver an integrated solution

  • Experience delivering results by creating engaged teams that deliver creative solutions

  • Experience in HR in a manufacturing or production environment

Summary pay range: $151,300 - $204,700
