Location: Hybrid. 3 days from home and 2 days in our office in Maidenhead, United Kingdom.

Employment: Full-time employment contract. The start will be in early July 2026

Why SLP?

The Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Program (“SLP”) is a high-profile rotational program that is an integrated process for accelerating the development of our future leaders. It is geared toward recent graduates with Human Resources internship experience and a relevant business degree with a passion for a long-term career in Human Resources and People Operations.   

HR SLPs work in 3 rotations over 2 years, each rotation has project assignments that allow participants to become familiar with how we do business and contribute to the success of that facility. The program offers invaluable experiences for early-career associates seeking challenging developmental opportunities to jump-start their careers.

The Job:

As the Human Resources Graduate, you’ll be part of our Human Resources team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:

  • Building Relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to business groups while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives.
  • Leading HR and analytics projects to streamline processes and increase working capital turns – All while communicating effectively of any challenges that may inhibit project deliverables.
  • Leading Projects: Plan, Manage, and provide deliverables on projects as assigned throughout their rotational assignments.
  • Facilitate structured training programs to support business transformation.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
  • Report out/present to Program peers and company leaders about your project deliverables on a regular rhythm.

The Person:

You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You’re not intimidated by innovation. In fact, you embrace it. Wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? You also have:  

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Analytics or Communications.
  • Prior internships in HR, Analytics or Project Management.
  • Fluent English.
  • Willing to rotate work assignments, projects, and teams every 6-12 months throughout the program.
  • Relocation for a minimum of one rotation may be required.
