As a Payroll, Time and Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for executing payroll, time and benefits activities in a timely and accurate manner for all the employees in Roche Pharma Spain.
You are also contributing to the continuous improvement of the Pay, Time & Benefits (PTB) processes, delivery through analysis of the interactions and collaboration with other People & Culture (P&C) functions. You need a broad understanding across local processes and tools, as well as local and global downstream impacts on employee lifecycle management, finance, procurement, etc. This is coupled with strong customer focus, communication skills and solution orientation.
Responsibilities
Manage the complete payroll process for Roche Spain, around 2.700 employees.
Execute system data maintenance and administrative activities in the area of payroll, tax, social insurance, time, several local and global benefits etc.
Manage the local benefits and collaborates with the Rewards team in benchmarking activities with the market, as well as data analysis.
Ensure consistent and reliable service delivery for customers serviced, ensure end to end ownership of resolution, operations and regulatory compliance in line with the countries, customers and regulations.
Collaborate with finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues
Maintain accurate payroll records and reports
Assist with payroll audits and year-end processes
Participating in project activities within any other Areas of Expertise in People & Culture as required
Who you are
In this role you will be working within the Global and local Payroll Time & Benefits team focusing on our Global customers needs and collaborating with teams across various functions and levels within the organisation.
You have professional experience (3-7 years) in Spanish Payroll and Benefits activities with end to end process experience.
You have advanced knowledge of Workday and SAP HR systems.
You are able to deliver in a matrix organisation, you can work independently in a fast-paced environment and you excel at handling multiple competing priorities with flexibility.
You have a strong analytical ability.
You demonstrate an excellent problem-solving mindset as you listen actively, you think critically and you seek process improvements.
You have a growth mindset (incl. taking risks and experimenting, seeking new learning opportunities, asking and giving feedback)
Your customer centricity brings you energy through your day-to-day interactions, eg. you can anticipate needs, you are culturally aware, managing one’s response, etc

Strong communication, prioritisation and problem-solving abilities
You possess advanced skills in Excel, pivot tables and vlookup have no secret to you
You communicate fluently in English and Spanisf
