Job Summary
The HRIS Specialist at Wasatch will be responsible for the accurate and efficient management of our Human Resources Information System, Workday, ensuring data integrity, system optimization, and user support to enhance HR operations. This position will support multiple companies in a single tenant, and help to configure and maintain Workday HR Modules, including, but not limited to: Core HCM (Security, Business Process Configuration, Organization Management, etc), Recruiting, Reporting, EIBs, Compensation, Learning, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Absence, and more.
Job Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the company's HRIS system, Workday, including data entry, updates, and configuration of modules.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS through regular audits, data cleansing, and development of data governance procedures.
Generate and distribute various HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support management decision-making and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with HR team members, IT, and other departments to identify system enhancements, implement new functionalities, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Provide training and support to HR staff and employees on HRIS functionalities and self-service portals.
Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
Develop and maintain documentation for HRIS processes, procedures, and user guides.
Stay informed of HRIS best practices, industry trends, and compliance regulations to recommend system improvements.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience working in the Workday system for at least 2 to 4 years
Strong understanding of Human Resources processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience with report writing and data visualization tools is a plus.
