Position Summary
The HR Generalist plays a critical role in delivering high-quality talent acquisition and HR operational support across the organization. This position will execute full-cycle recruiting, support HR systems and compliance processes, and contribute to broader people initiatives and projects.
This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values operational excellence, and is eager to expand their exposure across multiple HR disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (50%)
- Execute full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles across the organization
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach
- Screen and interview candidates
- Coordinate interview logistics and feedback collection
- Facilitate background checks and offer negotiations
- Ensure a high-quality, seamless candidate experience from intake to onboarding
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes
HR Operations & Systems (40%)
- Lead new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience
- Serve as primary administrator for the HRIS (Rippling)
- Maintain accurate employee records and system data
- Process employee lifecycle changes (hires, promotions, transfers, terminations)
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations within standard HR processes
- Evaluate, document, and optimize routine HR workflows for efficiency and accuracy
- Support payroll inputs and coordinate with internal stakeholders as needed
HR Strategy & Project Support (10%)
- Contribute and assist with HR and cross-functional projects
- Facilitate internal training coordination
- Support reporting needs and ensure accuracy of HR data and dashboards
- Provide administrative support for routine HR programs including reviews cycles, engagement surveys and talent discussions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience required
- Recruiting or sourcing experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Process improvement mindset
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the HR field
Compensation & Benefits
OneEnergy’s compensation packages are determined based on several factors including skill set, experience, certifications, geographic location, and organizational needs.
Salary Range: $85,000 – 110,000 annually
