POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our operations across the APAC region. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives and drive organizational success.

You will play a key role in shaping a high-performance culture, supporting regional expansion, strengthening leadership capability, and enabling sustainable growth across diverse markets within APAC.

This role requires strong business acumen, operational excellence, and flexibility to collaborate across global time zones, particularly with leaders in the UK and US.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Partner closely with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support regional and global business objectives.
  • Support business expansion initiatives across APAC, including workforce planning, market readiness, organisational structuring, and compliance with local labour laws.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employment legislation, visa requirements, workplace policies, and best HR practices across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession strategies, and leadership development initiatives to build future-ready teams.
  • Coach and mentor employees, managers, and supervisors to strengthen leadership capability, improve team effectiveness, and enhance employee engagement.
  • Lead and support organisational change management initiatives, ensuring structured communication, stakeholder alignment, and smooth transitions during transformation.
  • Champion performance management processes, guiding leaders in goal setting, performance improvement, and talent development.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies while maintaining full compliance with local statutory and labour law requirements across APAC countries.
  • Partner with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance, and resolution of employee payroll queries.
  • Implement initiatives that enhance employee experience and strengthen company culture across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Act as gatekeeper for competitive pay structures and benefits, ensuring market alignment and internal equity.
  • Leverage HR analytics and data insights to inform decision-making and optimise organisational effectiveness.
  • Maintain HR systems and processes to the highest standard, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with external agencies, consultants, and local advisors as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ownership by contributing beyond defined responsibilities to meet evolving business needs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Relevant professional HR qualification
  • Experience in a Data Centre Environment is preferred.
  • 5-9 years of HR experience, including 4+ years in an HRBP role, ideally in Managed Services, IT, or a dynamic multinational setting.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR practices across multiple APAC countries.
  • Experience partnering across global time zones and collaborating with international leadership teams (UK/US exposure preferred).
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into people strategy.
  • High level of discretion, sound judgment, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
