We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our People and Culture team at Airbus Portugal.
Responsibilities - your mission
Your Mission: Empowering the people who reach for the sky
As our Human Resources Business Partner, you are the primary HR interface with the business, but also a partner that supports and advises employees and managers on all HR related topics. You act as an HR strategic partner and coach, listening and advising your dedicated business areas.
You also ensure that internal policies are applied and that processes are implemented effectively and consistently in the business area in line with local legislation and global HR strategy.
Your core responsibilities (impact and collaboration):
Being a true partner to the business and advising local and transnational managers in their management role in line with HR strategy. Partner with local and international leaders to translate business goals into people strategies.
Listening to the people in your business area, showing understanding and empathy and supporting them through their HR related topics.
Driving People KPIs: Monitor and influence critical HR indicators including absenteeism, attrition, development KPIs and diversity (among others)to maintain a high-performance culture.
Monitor and analyse attrition trends within your business area, identifying root causes and proposing proactive retention strategies.
Partner closely with the Head of HR to design and present proposals for organizational improvements, compensation adjustments, and talent initiatives.
Lead the local rollout of HR/ global initiatives, such as strategic HR or workplace projects
Establish a two-way info flow between the business and global HR CoEs to ensure our tools and practices perfectly match business needs.
Work in hand-in-hand with other teams (workplace, HR operations) to ensure smooth running of all elements that constitute part of the employee experience
Advising managers and employees on career development, remuneration and talent management processes, supporting team and focus reviews
Oversee the talent landscape by driving high completion rates for talent KPIs and Development Talks, ensuring employees have active growth/development paths.
Conducting competency-based interviews with candidates at final interview and provide hiring recommendations to the business for Team Leaders and Managers
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have
As the successful candidate you should be able to demonstrate the following experience and skills:
At least 2 to 3 years experience as a HRBP.
Knowledge of Portuguese labour laws, employment regulations and compliance.
A high level of emotional intelligence combined with strong listening and coaching skills.
Experience in partnering with the business and providing legal and people advice.
Generalist HR knowledge with strong change and strategic competencies.
A highly proactive mindset, the ability to anticipate and address business issues and offer solutions to managers.
Good communication and conflict management skills, teamwork abilities in an international and multinational environment.
High autonomy and ownership - you are able to take full accountability for your business area while knowing when to pull in your manager for strategic alignment
Fluency in English is mandatory.
