This is a pivotal leadership role within our Accommodation and Respite services, where you will oversee the day-to-day operations of one of CPA's group Shared Independent Living (SIL) homes in the Hornsby & Upper North Shore Region, and the Hills District.

CPA operates close to 100 SIL houses across the Sydney & Hunter regions. As a House Manager, you’ll guide and mentor a team of Disability Support Practitioners, ensuring clients receive unrivalled, high-quality care in a safe, welcoming home.

Note: the location of this role will be finalised during the recruitment process. Candidate location will be taken into account.


CPA will be commencing the interview process in January 2026.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team aligned with CPA’s values
  • Foster a culture of person-centred care
  • Oversee service operations to ensure client goals & outcomes are achieved
  • Manage budgets, client service agreements, and tenancy arrangements
  • Build strong relationships with families, carers, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS, CPA policies, and legislative requirements
  • Monitor and mitigate risks, safeguarding client wellbeing
  • Coordinate facilities management to maintain safe, high-quality accommodation

What You'll Bring

We are looking for leaders who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach, and are passionate about making an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

  • Cert 3 or 4 in Individual Support and/or Leadership, or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working in Shared Independent Living (SIL)/Accommodation Services under the NDIS Quality and Safeguard framework
  • Proven capability to lead teams in SIL/Accommodation services
  • Values and ethos to positively impact people with disabilities.
  • Foundational financial management and strong operational planning skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • In-depth understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks
  • Commitment to CPA’s values
