As a member of the Layout Team, you will be part of the team designing custom high speed analog layout for industry leading SerDes on Intel's advanced technology.
Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Floorplan and create cell, block and macro level custom layout and DRC/LVS verified circuits using industry leading design tools.
- Perform RC extraction and EM analysis to troubleshoot difficult design issues. Participate in developing methodologies and flows.
- Work closely with local design engineers and guide mask design resources in layout related tasks.

Qualifications:
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, and research.
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, or any STEM related degree.
- 3+ months experience or course work with:
- Analog Circuits, Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI), Semiconductor Fabrication or Testing
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ months of experience in any of the following:
- Floor planning (semiconductor or printed circuit board (PCB), C
- Computer aided design (CAD) to assist with RC extraction, optimization, verification; or Semiconductor specific topics: ESD (electrostatic discharge), lithography, EM (electromagnetics), DFM (Design for Manufacturing), Antenna or manufacturing challenges.
