Position Responsibilities:

1. Ensure timely and accurate monitoring of health claims performance - Accountable for delivering high‑quality, recurring analytical outputs that provide early detection of emerging trends in claims cost, utilization, and risk indicators. This includes maintaining dependable monitoring mechanisms that allow the Health team to respond quickly to changes in a short‑tailed, high‑velocity business environment.
2. Support strategic and operational decision‑making through advanced analytics - Responsible for synthesizing data from TPAs, providers, and internal systems into structured insights that inform decision‑making. This includes developing analyses that highlight key drivers of cost, utilization, anomalies, and operational inefficiencies, enabling leadership to take targeted actions that improve financial and operational performance.
3. Maintain and enhance the data infrastructure that enables Health analytics with collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders - Responsible for ensuring that data pipelines, processing logic, and reporting assets are accurate, stable, and optimized for efficiency. This includes identifying opportunities to improve data quality and enhance analytical tools to support scalability and operational excellence.
4. Support ad‑hoc analytical requests and cross‑team initiatives - Accountable for delivering high‑quality analysis and insights for ad‑hoc projects originating from other teams, ensuring responsiveness, analytical rigor, and alignment with broader business priorities. This includes contributing analytical expertise to cross‑functional initiatives that require health‑related data interpretation or integration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, R, SAS, or other analytical tools.

  • Expertise in BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau for insight visualization and storytelling.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.

  • Typically 2–5 years of analytics experience, ideally within health insurance, actuarial functions, or data-heavy operational environments.

  • Deep exposure to health insurance data or medical coding (ICD, CPT, procedure codes) is a strong asset.
