Job Title: Head of Supply Chain, China
Location: Shanghai, China
Job Description
To ensure that End-to-end Supply Chain is managed and operates in an effective/efficient manner to support business needs
Key Responsibilities
Management of an efficient and effective end-to-end Supply Chain, including S&OP, demand & supply planning, inventory/cost management, products distribution, warehouse management, customer order fulfilment, new product development etc
Responsible for implementing strategies that support the business to deliver its objectives and bring added value through continuous improvement & innovation.
Provide support to ensure that high customer service level is maintained and utilizing a minimum of inventory, at the lowest costs and in full compliance of all relevant regulations and standards
Review and improve the supply chain process and operations to meet KPI. Create good alignment with internal and external stakeholders
Develop and manage the Supply chain team to deliver high performing results
Lead Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process to drive forecast accuracy improvement, inventory optimization etc to drive efficient business decision to achieve company’s target for both top line and bottom line
Proactively communicate with Global SC team/ plants on recent demand change\ supply status to ensure smooth collaboration
Ensure right supply network design(warehouse/distribution/customs etc) to meet service and cost expectation
Work on supply chain projects and initiatives as required. Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs.Team Management
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline
10+ years of Supply Chain related working experience within FMCG or Medical Device industry, with 5+ years in planning role
Managerial experience is a must
Experience in business role is a plus
Preferred: APICS Certification, ERP Experience
Required pre-requisites skills/experience: (please specify):
Solid knowledge and experience on E2E supply chain aspects including S&OP\ planning\ logistics\ customer service etc
Strong relationship management and communication skills
Leading a team with business-oriented agile mindset, demonstrated team orientation, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational and systems-related skills.
Outstanding project management skills with a proven track record of successfully launching new products
Highly analytical with logical thinking
Good understanding of ERP systems
Good technical and business writing skills in English
