Position Overview

Zelis is growing—and we’re looking for a hands-on leader to join our state-of-the-art Production Facility in Tempe, AZ. This facility processes and mails over 1.4 million packages daily for more than 500 clients, making it a critical hub in our mission to transform healthcare communications.

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of production associates, ensuring smooth operations, high productivity, and a positive work environment. This is a lead-from-the-floor role—you’ll be actively engaged with your team, driving performance and fostering collaboration.

Available Shifts:

  • 1st shift - 6 am - 2 pm

  • 2nd shift - 2 pm - 10 pm

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee daily production workload to meet USPS mail pick-up times and client SLAs

  • Lead team meetings, set goals, and coach associates for success

  • Monitor performance using metrics and provide constructive feedback

  • Maintain balance across quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, vendors, and clients

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service providers

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, HIPAA, and safety standards

  • Support new hire training and orientation

  • Operate production equipment when needed

What you’ll bring to Zelis:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 4+ years in a production environment

  • 2+ years supervisory experience

  • Strong leadership and analytical skills

  • Basic computer skills; USPS mail prep knowledge preferred

  • Mechanical aptitude
