Your role at Clorox:

The Sr. Manager, Global Quality Assurance Audits leads the enterprise audit program across Clorox manufacturing sites, external manufacturers, suppliers, and licensing partners. This role is responsible for audit strategy, governance, calibration integrity, and performance oversight to ensure alignment with the Global Quality Management System. The position manages both internal Clorox auditors and third-party audit providers to ensure audit accuracy, timely reporting, and risk-based execution. This leader drives audit maturity, integrates findings into systemic improvement efforts, and strengthens enterprise risk visibility through disciplined audit governance.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute the global risk-based audit strategy across internal sites, external manufacturers, suppliers, and licensing partners.

  • Establish annual audit plans aligned to enterprise risk priorities, regulatory expectations, and BU requirements.

  • Define and maintain audit standards, scoring methodology, and escalation protocols.

  • Ensure audit coverage supports business continuity, supplier capability, and regulatory compliance.

  • Drive governance discipline across audit execution, ensuring consistency, transparency, and accountability.

  • Provide executive-level visibility into audit risk trends and program health.

  • Lead and manage internal Clorox auditors, including performance expectations, workload prioritization, and development of audit capability. Oversee third-party audit providers, including contract management, service quality, calibration alignment, and performance accountability.

  • Establish and enforce report quality standards to ensure audit accuracy, scoring integrity, and timely submission.

  • Lead regular calibration sessions across internal and external auditors to maintain scoring consistency.

  • Monitor auditor productivity, report cycle time, and corrective action timeliness.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to audit effectiveness, report cycle time, scoring accuracy, and corrective action closure.

  • Ensure audits and corrective actions are properly documented and governed within the eQMS (Intelex), maintaining data integrity and compliance visibility.

  • Monitor overdue action items and drive accountability to prevent systemic backlog risk.

  • Analyze recurring findings and risk patterns to drive systemic improvement initiatives.

  • Integrate audit outputs into broader QMS governance and enterprise reporting.

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen audit methodology and system effectiveness.

  • Partner with Business Unit Quality Leaders, External Operations Managers, Procurement, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Plant Leadership globally.

  • Influence supplier risk decisions and corrective action prioritization without direct operational authority.

  • Support enterprise quality initiatives by aligning audit insights with strategic priorities.

  • Represent audit program governance in leadership forums as needed.

  • Ensure audit readiness supports regulatory inspections and key customer requirements.

  • Maintain audit program alignment with ISO, GMP, GFSI, OTC, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.

  • Support mock recall integration and supplier risk escalation processes.

  • Ensure audit documentation supports defensibility during regulatory or customer reviews.

What we look for:

  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, audit governance, supplier quality, or manufacturing quality in a global or regulated CPG environment.

  • 3+ years of experience leading audit programs and/or managing third-party audit providers.

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO, GMP, GFSI, OTC regulatory frameworks).

  • Expertise in risk-based audit planning and governance.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision making.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with eQMS systems (Intelex preferred).

  • Ability to travel globally up to 30%.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $128,000 - $252,200

–Zone B: $117,400 - $231,200

–Zone C: $106,700 - $210,200
