What you'll be doing

The Group Product Manager, Acquisition and Channel Partnership is a strategic role responsible for driving the growth, positioning, and delivery of creditor insurance solutions. This individual will design and implement advice strategies, develop compensation and incentive programs, foster strong channel partnerships, and manage communication and reporting to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a proven track record in product management, relationship building, and cross-functional execution.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

  • Product management - Strong knowledge and experience in product management, strategic planning, and project management sufficient to identify, develop, and implement approved initiatives (experience preferably in financial services).

  • Analytical - Understand and interpret complex information, identify patterns and trends in new or strategic areas, and develop recommendations, often with minimal direction in order to respond to urgent business priorities.

  • Leadership - Well-developed management and leadership skills sufficient to achieve results within a matrix organization, including the ability to bring about change at a senior level.

  • Relationship management - Meet business objectives by managing relationships and working effectively with internal and external partners including Marketing and other lines of business, partners and vendors.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience in business planning, business model development and pricing best-practices (5+ years). You also have in-depth knowledge of [insert LoB specific product names] products. You have strategic planning skills sufficient to establish and co-ordinate complex assignments and projects which can be ambiguous in nature.
