Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Service Delivery Manager reporting to the Executive Manager Customer and Products and RSP Systems Operations.

A bit about your role

As the Service Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery, governance, and optimisation of IT services supporting nbn’s partners. You will lead the performance and resilience of nbn’s Interfacing Platform Services, ensuring partner satisfaction and compliance with Wholesale Broadband Agreement obligations and commercial commitments. This role will see you champion operational excellence, uplift service maturity, and embed a customer-first culture across the organisation.

You will be at the centre of partner engagement, building trust-based relationships, resolving escalations, and providing clear insights into performance and improvement initiatives. With a strong focus on innovation, you will identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled technologies to enhance service accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. You will also play a key role in guiding change, leading technology integrations and process transitions with care and clarity, ensuring minimal disruption for partners and internal teams.

This position requires disciplined time management and workload prioritisation in a complex operational environment, including participation in after-hours and weekend support during critical events. Your leadership will extend across cross-functional teams, aligning priorities and fostering collaboration to deliver consistent outcomes that reflect nbn’s strategic, commercial, and regulatory objectives.

A bit about you

As a Service Delivery Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving large-scale transformation programs that shape the future of nbn. You’ll lead initiatives end-to-end, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with enterprise goals. Success in this role means building strong relationships, fostering collaboration, and influencing outcomes across multiple business units. You’ll thrive in complex environments, balancing priorities while maintaining governance and quality standards.

To excel, you’ll bring experience in a relevant field, certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, or Change Management, and at least six years of experience managing enterprise-level transformation programs. Your strengths will include strategic thinking, clear communication, and exceptional stakeholder engagement. Leadership, negotiation, and planning skills are essential, along with the ability to manage risks, budgets, and resources effectively. If you’re highly organized, adaptable, and passionate about delivering meaningful change, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
