Position Overview:

As Graduate Technical Administrator you will be responsible for creating the accurate pricing of machinery repair options for use across the business including EM (Equipment Management) solutions, standard jobs and customer support agreements.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions

  • Create repair options for components and servicing repairs.
  • Build a price matrix from CAT parts data.
  • Develop an accurate bill of materials, labour hours for repairs and provide any supporting documentation.
  • Provide support to the Contracts Support Supervisor
  • Create complete lifecycle rebuild options for the products we sell and service.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the applications the dealership uses for developing repair options is maintained
  • Promote and gather feedback to improve repair option builds from service operations.
  • Use various reports to maintain accurate repair options accuracy.
  • Provides feedback to ensure accuracy of the repair options are maintained.

  • Engineering literacy skills
  • Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) to intermediate/advanced level

Experience

Essential:

  • Financial Literacy (numeracy) skills
  • Engineering literacy skills
  • Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) to intermediate/advanced level
  • Graduate or 3 years operations experience

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of plant or industrial equipment preferred.
  • Engineer qualification (Certificate in engineering) or relevant experience in engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar role within similar industry environment
  • Knowledge of OEM systems
  • Good knowledge of Systems and applications desirable

Accountability

  • Accountable for ensuring that the applications the dealership uses for developing repair options are maintained.
  • Promotes and gathers feedback to improve repair option builds from service operations.
  • Uses various reports to maintain accurate repair options accuracy.
  • Provides feedback to OEM providers to ensure accuracy of the repair options are maintained.
  • Accuracy of Repair Option documentation.

Education and Experience

Essential:

Graduate or 3 years operations experience

Desirable:

Experience in use of OEM Applications – such as Product Support Software & dealer management systems

Engineer qualification (Certificate in engineering)

Relevant experience in engineering

Previous experience in a similar role within similar industry environment (Construction, HGV, Agricultural equipment, Automotive, Heavy Machinery)
