Job Description

This position will provide tutoring support in the College of Business and assist the Department Head and faculty with collecting, analyzing, and testing data. The role will also include attending lectures, assisting in classes, and helping with grading and exam proctoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Department Heads and faculty members with collecting, analyzing, and testing data for research.

  • Proctor examinations, schedule and maintain regular meeting hours with students, and lead tutorials.

  • Copy and distribute classroom materials, and inform students of procedures for completing and submitting coursework.

  • Attend lectures given by the instructor they are assisting.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).

  • Must be in good academic standing.
