Join the GPS Associate Programme, a structured 18 months development journey designed for ambitious early-career professionals aiming to build a career in private banking.

As part of the Wealth Planning team in Zurich, you will embark on a dynamic 18 months program combining a rotational assignment, intensive training, mentorship and project and task responsibilities.

Through hands-on experience and continuous learning, you will develop the skills, network, and business acumen necessary to transition into a permanent role as a Junior Wealth Planner Taxation Switzerland within GPS upon successful completion.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Advising and supporting bank clients on Swiss tax and legal matters

  • Assisting senior wealth planners in conducting tax assessments and preparing client documentation

  • Collaborating with other specialists within the bank to develop holistic client solutions (e.g., working with international colleagues from the Wealth Planning team)

  • Coordinating and collaborating with various external experts (lawyers, notaries, and other subject matter specialists)

  • Evaluating and implementing suitable solutions related to taxation and wealth planning for clients resident in Switzerland or in international cases involving Switzerland

  • Contributing to internal Wealth Planning projects

  • Preparing training materials and presentations

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or Business Administration, preferably supplemented by tax-related further education

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in taxation, ideally gained at one of the “Big Four” audit and advisory firms, a reputable law firm, or with the Swiss tax authorities

  • Solid understanding of Swiss civil law

  • Excellent communication skills combined with a service-minded and customer-oriented personality

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and high sense of responsibility

  • Competent and thoughtful manner

  • Strong technical judgment and analytical abilities

  • Team-oriented individual with an open-minded attitude

  • Native level in German and Business level in English

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Capacity to work and travel within Switzerland
