As the Centre of Excellence for Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems (ICT & SS), GovTech develops the Singapore Government’s capabilities in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Application Development, Smart City Technology, Digital Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity. [What you will be working on]

At GovTech, our internship programmes are designed to give you hands-on experience and a chance to contribute meaningfully to our organisation. 

Passionate about technology? As a GovTech intern, you'll get to work on strategic national projects that drive Singapore's digital transformation. Have other fortes? We also offer internship roles in non-tech capacities such as HR, communications and marketing, and more.

Whichever track you choose, you'll learn from GovTech's senior leaders and gain access to courses and career workshops.

We welcome applications from students who are available to begin their internship between May and December 2026. The application window is open until 31 March 2026.

Step 2: Complete the application submission, which consists of two parts:

• Part 1: Submit your application via Careers@Gov at https://go.gov.sg/govtechinternship2026
• Part 2: Submit your preferences for internship roles/projects at https://go.gov.sg/govtech2026internships
• Important: To be considered for the internship programme, please ensure that both parts of the submission are completed. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
• Please do not include details on your NRIC in your uploaded resume/CV.

GovTech will contact you directly if you are shortlisted, and you can expect to hear from us within 5 weeks of your application date.

[What we are looking for]

• We’re looking for polytechnic students, undergraduates, and recent A-Level and diploma graduates awaiting university admission who are up for a challenge and want to make a difference!
• Only Singaporeans and Singaporean Permanent Residents are eligible to participate in our internship programme. 
• Applicants who have graduated from university are not eligible for our internship programme.
• Minimum commitment of 12 weeks on a full-time basis.
