The State Street Global Talent Acquisition (TA) Team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Lead to play a pivotal role in identifying and hiring top talent for State Street Investment Management (SSIM) and State Street Markets. This critical leadership role is responsible for leading the TA function for two significant revenue generating businesses, ensuring a consistent, effective, client centric and compliant approach that is closely aligned with the strategic priorities of the businesses. This is a player-coach role, and as such you will have extensive experience in direct search, team management, and executive-level stakeholder management.
What you will be responsible for
As the Talent Acquisition Lead for SSIM & Markets, you will:
Own and lead executive level searches globally.
Strategically partner with the President & CEO of SSIM, Global Head of Markets, and their management teams on hiring and demand planning.
Educate stakeholders on recruiting best practice, such as talent demand and availability, cost, industry standards, pipeline trends, and sourcing methodologies.
Consult with and influence business heads and hiring managers, to develop strategic hiring plans as well as sourcing and selection strategies.
Lead and develop a team of global recruiters, directly and via matrix reporting.
Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and other key partners to drive an innovative and forward-thinking approach.
Strategically use data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, and make data-driven decisions.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 15 years’ progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruiting executive-level Front Office professionals within the Investment Management or Markets industry.
High degree of comfort directly sourcing passive talent and executing on senior searches.
Proven success developing and executing talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals, including the ability to anticipate future hiring needs and build proactive sourcing pipelines.
Extensive experience consulting with senior business leaders and managers on the talent acquisition process and strategy on a global scale.
Demonstrated ability to lead Talent Acquisition teams, influence stakeholders, and partner with hiring managers across business units
Strong data analysis capabilities for recruitment metrics and reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
