The Boeing Company’s Government Operations, Global Public Policy and Corporate Strategy Human Resources (HR) organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the team in Arlington, VA! This role will provide HR partnership to teams within the function.

The ideal candidate will utilize knowledge of the HR function to help shape Government Operations, Global Public Policy and Corporate Strategy’s people plan and standard solutions. 


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies tailored to the unique needs of the Government Operations team, ensuring workforce engagement and productivity

  • Serve as a HR knowledge expert, consultant and advisor, working to lead and drive HR goals and objectives from a consistent, enterprise perspective

  • Drive talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning initiatives for the Government Operations team in coordination with leaders

  • Analyze workforce metrics and provide insights to improve team effectiveness and address potential HR risks

  • Lead and implement change management efforts impacting the Government Operations team, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption

  • Serve as a key liaison between the Government Operations team and senior leadership, communicating HR priorities and team needs effectively and efficiently

  • Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (CoE’s) to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the seamless delivery of programs

  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation and ensure solutions are consistent with organization and organizational objectives

  • Champion an inclusive, service excellence culture characterized by fast, agile, and responsive decision making, and an entrepreneurial, innovative, and engaged mindset

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 5+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 5+ years of experience creating and developing HR strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

  • 1+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Human Resources Certification

  • 5+ years in supporting employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

  • 5+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data for cross-functional teams

  • Experience developing and driving global strategies for leadership teams

  • Experience driving creative strategies

Summary pay range: $153,000 - $207,000
