Global Finance Training Lead - 18 Month FTC
Role Summary
The Global Finance Training Lead is a senior role within our Global Finance Transformation; We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lead to support the successful delivery of a multi-year global finance transformation. You will play a key role in owning the design, development, and delivery of Global finance training that enables users to confidently adopt new systems and processes.
You will lead a team of training managers and training developers and will work closely with local teams and internal partners across the business to ensure training is aligned with programme goals and delivered effectively across all regions.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop the Polaris training team to provide high-quality L&D Finance training across
- Global Finance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy aligned with the overall Polaris
- programme objectives.
- · Handle a third-party systems Integrator (SI) to minimize risk and ensure training is developed as expected
- Set up BAU capability to run training after the SI is engagement is complete
- Application of the full learning cycle (analysis, design, delivery, evaluation) to ensure solutions are
- effective, measurable, and aligned with business priorities.
- Supervise the development of the Training Needs Analysis and Curriculum
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (important metrics) to measure the efficiency of training
- programmes.
- Collect and analyse feedback from training participants and internal partners
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy aligned with the overall Polaris programme objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners across the Polaris programme and global finance teams.
- Communicate effectively with partners on training progress, risks and issues.
- Continuously improve training programmes and materials based on feedback and evolving business requirements.
What you’ll need
- Significant experience across the full learning cycle needs analysis, programme design, facilitation,
- and evaluation.
- Experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programmes for finance or technology-
- related initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in a senior learning role within a sophisticated, multi-division organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confirmed ability to influence and consult with senior
- leaders.
- Experience leading business-facing teams or L&D business partners.
- Strong knowledge of learning principles, instructional design, and adult learning theory.
- Proven ability to use evaluation and data to demonstrate impact and shape future solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating enterprise strategy into clear divisional narratives.
