Core Responsibilities
1. Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
2. Informs, drives and executes the strategic operational planning. Ensures operational aspects of the funds are met for the department. Develops and implements strategic and operations plans to achieve short- and long-term objectives and both the department and enterprise levels.
3. Oversees the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans. Manages global approach and the vision for the planning and development of short- and long-range goals.
4. Leverages strong awareness of market trends, new services, and emerging technology to identify opportunities and risks.
5. Oversees and manages the planning of department's key initiatives. Is responsible for the development of the departmental business planning and budget.
6. Develops and maintains the department and division to determine growth objectives and opportunities. Defines and maintains metrics to determine effectiveness and progress.
7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
