Global Service Manager  DO/EIMCO, Flotation, PCV, DSG 

Position Summary 

FLS is seeking a highly skilled and professional Global Service Manager (Specialist) to lead global field services operations, including installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of separation equipment such as thickeners, flotation cells, clarifiers, cyclones, and pumps. 

The Global Service Manager serves as FLS’s leader and is responsible for delivering high-quality technical service, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring safe and efficient project execution. This position requires some international travel and the ability to work independently under demanding conditions. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead global field service operations for gold processing and separation equipment. 

  • Ensure safe, efficient installation, commissioning, and optimization of downstream equipment. 

  • Provide technical leadership and support to global teams and clients. 

  • Drive customer satisfaction, project execution, and operational excellence in gold processing and separation. 

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations 

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive growth and success 

  • Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and training initiatives to enhance global field service capabilities. 

  • Provide estimation of execution, installation, and commissioning activities. 

  • Support operational startup, troubleshooting, and optimization of equipment performance. 

  • Ability to conduct, develop, and support inspections, testing, calibration, and verification of mechanical and control-related systems. 

  • Coordinate onsite project activities, schedules, and resources to ensure timely completion. 

  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to resolve technical issues. 

  • Prepare accurate and professional documentation, including installation records, commissioning reports, and service summaries. 

  • Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. 

  • Represent FLS with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions. 

 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); master’s degree or MBA preferred, or 10+ years in mining/mineral processing, with 5+ years in leadership 

  • Proven experience in project management, commissioning, and operations in gold processing/separation 

  •  Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems 

  • Familiarity with industry standards 

  • Experience with thickeners, flotation cells, clarifiers, cyclones, pumps, and other downstream equipment. 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to lead multicultural teams and manage stakeholders 

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities under pressure. 

  • Passport and ability to travel internationally (up to 40%) 

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations 

  • Strong mechanical background with hands-on experience in Installation & Commissioning (I&C) of industrial process equipment. 

  • Experience with thickeners, flotation cells, clarifiers, cyclones, pumps, reactors, or similar industrial equipment. 

  • Experience in commissioning or startup of industrial process systems. 

  • Background in mining, minerals processing, water treatment, or heavy industrial environments. 

  • English fluency required. multilingual capabilities or experience working in multicultural settings. 

  • Ability to meet all medical and physical fitness requirements necessary to obtain work authorization for highaltitude job sites.
