To strengthen our Group Procurement Raw Materials and Consumables teams, we are looking for Global Category Manager MRO/Services in Varna (Bulgaria). You will report functionally to the Global Team Leader Direct Consumables Sourcing. Join the team and shape the future of Procurement with us!

The Global Category Manager MRO and Maintenance Services is supporting and preparing the further development of the global category strategy in collaboration with the country-organizations and in alignment with the Global Team Leader Direct Consumables Sourcing.
 

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

  • Constant development and refinement of the global category strategy for MRO-parts and services with the Global Team Leader

  • Creation of further spend-transparency for MRO-categories with focus on highly diverse categories

  • Creation of Further spend-transparency services

  • Support of group stock-optimization projects group (e.g. Nordics with GBPE) together with the Global Team Leader

  • Driving strategic MRO focus-topics as predictive maintenance

  • Strategic supplier meetings with dealers for MRO parts

  • Support and preparation of global frame contract negotiations with key-suppliers for MRO-parts and services

  • Organization and support of bundling-activities for MRO-products together with country organizations for homogenous MRO-categories e.g. fasteners, conveyor-belts

  • Best practice identification and sharing of services- and MRO-strategies and actions across countries

  • Escalation-support for country organizations with global suppliers

YOUR PROFILE

  • min. 5 years of professional experience in Procurement, preferably in the building materials industry or other producing industries; vendor management practices

  • Proven experience in category-strategy-definition and -analysis, global tender execution and data analysis for cost-optimization, including successful management and integration of central stakeholders in a bigger multi-national group

  • Good understanding of procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation design, contract negotiation, and performance management, in both buyer and international supplier markets environments

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in business-administration or industrial engineering

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (min. English, German is an additional advantage)

  • Ability to work efficiently in diverse teams; resilience and willingness to learn and grow

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, with flexibility for national and international business trips
