Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). What You Will Be Doing:

We are looking for a Fusion Technician to assemble mechanical and electrical assemblies on our in-house production lines. You will build hardware that powers Helion's prototype and production fusion machines. and have a direct impact on Helion's ability to build fusion machines and deliver clean energy to the world. As a fusion technician, you will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors at our Everett, WA location.

You Will:

  • Assemble critical mechanical and electrical assemblies per engineering work instructions
  • Use electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical hand tools
  • Perform essential quality control inspections
  • Partner with a collaborative team of technicians, material handlers, and engineers to meet daily targets
  • Communicate with your Lead and Supervisor on daily basis
  • Rebuild and re-test defective assemblies
  • Complete specialized projects to help us build our fusion generator
  • Comprehend and interpret work instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of work experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and hitting daily/weekly goals
  • Experience reading and adhering to instructions (i.e. work instructions, procedures, or processes)
  • Physical ability to squat, reach, climb, and lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to work Monday-Friday first shift operating from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, or second shift from 2:00pm-10:30pm

Helion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity - ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams. We are committed to fostering a fair and equitable environment in every aspect of our operations, including compensation.

This is an exempt salaried role.

Annual Base Pay
$25$29 USD
