About The Opportunity
Expected Compensation-$22/hourEssential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
• Transport finished jobs or goods to correct areas
• Move pallets of goods for jobs in process to appropriate area
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• May confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
• Receive in corrugate bales not palleted
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Ability to pass certification in order to operate a fork/lift truck
• Ability to understand and use all applicable aspects of WMS , interpret instructions oral and written
• Ability to perform duties while sitting, standing, walking and lifting for certain times throughout the shift
• Ability to work with plant management for required results , work as part of a team and produce at a high level
• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping & Receiving Supervisor/ Manager
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience driving a forklift desired, previous warehouse experience
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
• Be exposed to dusty conditions, moving machinery, and high noise levels, occasionally stand and walk , continuously sit
