About the Role:

Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor. The Food and Beverage Supervisor has an active role in the supervision of the restaurant and/or bar. They anticipate guests' needs whilst greeting, seating and serving restaurant and/or bar guests. Our goal is to satisfy each guest and develop loyalty. You will need to add style to a dynamic environment, build and maintain rapport with regular guests, as well as cultivating relationships with new patrons.  

What you will do:

  • Supervise the running of the service, and take quick and appropriate action to correct any shortcomings. Assist the servers and bussers when required during all service periods.

  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.  Effectively handle guest complaints and compliments and communicate to the management team.

  • Assist and organize departmental meetings with the management team, carry out daily service briefings, and assist in the organization of training sessions.

  • Work with Restaurant/Bar Managers and Assistant Managers to keep high standards of hygiene, service and presentation in the restaurant and bar, and amongst the staff.

  • Responsible for duties of the Restaurant/Bar Managers/Assistant Managers in their absence


What you bring:

  • High reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in Food & Beverage College degree or equivalent preferred.

  • A Valid U.S. Work Authorization.

Schedule and Hours:

  • This position is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work Mornings, Evening, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
