Goods In Operative – FLT Driver

Reports to: Goods In Supervisor
Department: Warehouse Operations
We are seeking an experienced FLT Driver to support the efficient, accurate movement of palletised stock within our warehouse. Working on behalf of our client, you will be responsible for the safe relocation of pallets, ensuring all movements are recorded correctly within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintaining high standards of operational quality.
About the Role
As a Goods In Operative (FLT Driver), you will ensure the smooth flow of stock into designated racking and storage locations. You will work safely, follow all compliance requirements, and contribute to maintaining exceptional service standards across the department.
Key Responsibilities
Safely relocate pallets to and from racking using authorised MHE (Counter-Balance, Reach, Bendi, VNA, PPT).
Accurately record all pallet movements on the WMS.
Adhere to company procedures, client instructions, and GDP/GMP standards.
Complete pre-use checks on all MHE and report defects immediately.
Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with MHRA and GDP requirements.
Report all accidents, damage, and near misses to the H&S Manager.
Follow company Health & Safety policies at all times.
Wear company uniform and ID pass in line with appearance standards.
Support continuous improvement activities within the operation.
Carry out reasonable management requests as required.
