Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager

The Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the Fire Sprinkler Construction Department. The Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager will lead a team and will have experience overseeing Fire Sprinkler installation projects starting with the hand off from the sales team through completion in a very fast paced environment with an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee design, project management, customer service, the deployment of materials and equipment for projects, and monitor financials for each project, and monitor financials for each project.

  • Responsible for providing vision, leadership, and direction to the Fire Sprinkler construction department.

  • Set goals and objectives for subordinates, communicate expectations to employees and periodically review subordinate's performance.

  • Daily operations of construction installation projects to be managed and monitored.

  • Assist superintendents as needed to maintain loading schedules and labor forecasting.

  • Proficient in developing business strategies, implementing action plans to meet and/or exceed department goals and objectives.

  • Attend construction meetings and interface with end-users, architects, and general contractors.

Education/Qualification:  

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • At least 5 years of Industry experience.

  • 10+ years of experience working with fire sprinkler systems is highly preferred.

  • Project Management/Construction Management experience.

  • Knowledge of job cost tracking and P&L.

  • Experience or knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products.

  • Proficient in the use of Windows operating system.

  • NICET certification is a plus but required.

Other Duties:

  • Performs other duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects

  • Ability to wear PPE such as steel toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glass, safety harnesses, and hard hats periodically on jobsites.  

Pay Range:

$120- $150K DOE
