Do you enjoy working in a small team with flat hierarchies and a desire to make a difference? For our Finance department, we are looking for an internationally oriented senior member for our accounting hub who will be supporting multiple legal entities across the APAC region. This is a hands‑on role combining operational accounting execution with analysis and process improvement.
What would your role be?
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries in SAP S/4HANA, including accruals, provisions, and adjustments as part of the month‑end close.
- Own the general ledger for assigned legal entities, including maintenance of accounting schedules and balance sheet reconciliations, consolidated financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget reports.
- Execute day‑to‑day accounting activities while ensuring high standards of accuracy, controls, and documentation.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide clear, insightful commentary on Profit & Loss and balance sheet movements.
- Identify and drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and deliver analytical insights beyond standard bookkeeping.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and proper recording of all financial transactions.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, month-end close processes, and financial reporting cycles. Experience with SAP S/4 is a plus.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and reliability.
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
