The Treasury Specialist serves as the vital link between Global Markets and the Wealth Management frontline. Based on the Rollover Desk, you will provide expert execution and strategic advisory on FX, Dual Current Investment for yield enhancement, and Structured Solutions. This is a high-energy role designed for a market-focused professional looking to master the intersection of capital markets and private wealth.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Advisory & Portfolio Solutions
- Tailored Structuring: Design sophisticated investment solutions (Dual Currency Investments, FX, and Structured Products) aligned with client risk profiles and strategic objectives.
- Market Intelligence: Act as a subject matter expert, delivering real-time market updates and identifying tactical investment opportunities for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Advisory Partnership: Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) to drive high-level investment conversations, bridging the gap between complex market movements and actionable client strategies.
2. Execution Excellence & Desk Management
- Precision Execution: Manage high-frequency trade execution via non-face-to-face channels, ensuring 100% accuracy and speed in the pricing and booking of FX and DCI flows.
- Book-Building & Pricing: Facilitate the book-building process for new structured offerings; provide competitive pricing quotations and seamless dealing services to the RM team.
- Revenue Growth: Drive the Treasury fee income budget by proactively identifying under-penetrated segments within the bank’s portfolio and converting opportunities.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Ecosystem Growth
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Capital Markets Product Managers, Global Markets, and Investment Counselors to streamline product delivery.
- Talent Development: Lead training initiatives and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the frontline on treasury products and market mechanics.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the bank with the highest level of professionalism, ensuring all engagements reflect the institution's prestige and integrity.
4. Governance & Risk Management
- Compliance Integrity: Ensure all treasury activities adhere strictly to internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and external regulatory requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Maintain a "first line of defense" mindset, ensuring client suitability and transparency in all complex product disclosures.
Education/Qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance/Marketing or a related field
- Possess professional investment related certification will be added advantage.
Experience
- Min 2 years of working experience in product management / Banking / Asset Management field.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- A passion for financial markets and a hunger for real-time trading environments.
- Special Skills
- Proficient in AI tool, or MS Office such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Words
- Strong numerical literacy and the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
