PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This internship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience within Rite-Hite’s Finance organization. Interns will support one or more finance functions—such as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, Tax, or Treasury—through project-based work and day-to-day analytical support.

The role offers exposure to core financial processes, cross-functional business partners, and finance leadership. Interns will gain practical experience applying financial and accounting concepts while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills in a corporate environment. We are seeking high-potential, motivated students with a strong interest in pursuing a career in finance or accounting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the Finance team through assigned projects and analytical support, with a focus on developing business acumen, technical capability, and professional judgment

  • Partner with Finance team members and internal stakeholders to understand objectives, scope deliverables, and execution timelines

  • Own the day-to-day completion of assigned workstreams, with coaching and guidance from a manager and mentors

  • Assist with financial analysis, reporting, data validation, and process documentation, depending on functional assignment

  • Support ongoing finance processes such as forecasting, variance analysis, month-end activities, cash management, tax compliance support, or internal reporting

  • Communicate project outcomes, insights, and recommendations to finance leadership and business partners

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills while managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Who we’re looking for:

  • Rising juniors or rising seniors currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related fields

  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

  • Demonstrated interest in a corporate finance career

  • Strong communicators who thrive in a team setting and are eager to make a difference.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Ability to work a minimum of 10–12 weeks, with potential opportunity for part-time continuation during the academic year

  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
