Field Applications Engineer (FAE) – US Team

Position Overview

This junior-level role is aimed at recent graduates and includes intensive training and mentorship to develop technical and customer-facing skills.

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our US team. This role will focus on providing technical expertise and support to customers, working closely with the sales and applications team to ensure successful integration and application of our imaging solutions. The role also involves direct interaction with customers to support the sales team and ensure smooth technical engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams.

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with sales and product management to identify customer requirements and propose solutions.

  • Develop and deliver technical training for customers and partners.

  • Assist in system integration, validation, and optimization of imaging solutions.

  • Document customer feedback and contribute to product improvement initiatives.

  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including datasheets and user manuals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master preferred.

  • Knowledge of imaging systems, optics, and CMOS sensor technology.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Exposure to imaging systems, optics, and CMOS sensor technology during coursework or projects.

  • Interest in vision systems and willingness to deepen knowledge through training.

  • Eagerness to learn and positive attitude.

  • Willingness to travel within the US and occasionally internationally.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiar with camera evaluation kits and image processing software.

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ITAR/EAR compliance.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

  • Knowledge of Matlab and Python for data analysis and automation.

Location

This position is based in Englewood, Denver, Colorado, with a hybrid approach (on-site and work-from-home).

  

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000
