DESCRIPTION:
As a Field Applications Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will provide expert technical guidance and support to customers across a range of sectors, including laboratory medicine and research institutes. You will deliver comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales support, conduct product evaluations and demonstrations, and help customers streamline the operational workflows of Phadia laboratory systems. This role combines scientific expertise with strong customer relationship management to drive the adoption of our technologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree of laboratory medicine or related filed
• Demonstrated expertise in laboratory workflows and applications
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience providing technical training and customer support
• Proficiency with standard office software and relevant scientific applications
• Willingness to travel up to 70% for customer site visits and demonstrations
• Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Customer-focused mindset with consultative approach to problem-solving
